This card seems so fitting for the final day of 2011. Endings come to all things and no matter how you want to present it, the truth of the matter is that Death ultimately brings change. That change can be the result of many things, including endings, and yes, including death itself. When my first husband died, so many changes came afterwards. I hear others scoff about the Death card as transition being a “new age” thing, but seriously, if you experience a death, you will experience some sort of change. As for the 2011? I hope that there is positive change in 2012. This has been a long year full of disappointment. Not just personally, but for many.
